| Rehearsal Time: Tuesday Nights in MIB 152 starting at 7:30pm. A student who wishes to participate in this ensemble must audition at the time of the Ball State Symphony Orchestra Auditions which are held at the beginning of each fall semester. |

The New Music Ensemble is a small chamber orchestra that explores the variety of composers in the modern realm. Composers such as John Cage, Oliver Messian, and others. The purpose of this ensemble is to create a concert atmosphere that not only showcases the music, but also promotes the inclusion of modern, contemporary music into the everyday concert setting. The goal of the ensemble is to help expose many classically trained musicians to the music and sound that exist past the date of 1945.
